Minnesota’s “One Call Law” was updated in 2024 in several important ways. Among those changes are:
- The 48-hour waiting period to begin your excavation now starts at 12:01 a.m. the day after the ticket is filed and confirmed by GSOC.
- Physical white markings are required to mark the area of excavation, with no exceptions.
- Meet tickets are required for excavations of one (1) mile or more in length (or any combination of adjacent sections that equal or exceed one (1) mile).
